5 EFT Tapping YouTube Channels for Nervous System Regulation

Mind Body, Nervous System · January 25, 2026 · by Lauren Sweeney

Woman in nature. Sunshine on her. Looks calm.
Woman in nature. Sunshine on her. Looks calm.

EFT tapping tends to get discovered by people who are already looking for something gentler: a way to work with the body without having to talk through everything first. This article covers five YouTube channels that teach tapping well, with a calm starter video for each one that you can follow right now.

The Short Version

EFT tapping pairs light fingertip taps on set points with spoken phrases. These five channels teach it in a calm, beginner-friendly way, chosen for their gentle tone and their focus on the nervous system.

The Five Channels

Channel 01Brad Yates, "Tap With Brad"

Brad Yates has been teaching Emotional Freedom Techniques for more than 20 years, and his channel covers anxiety, fear, self-worth, and trauma through guided tapping on the meridian points. His delivery is warm and unhurried, which matters when the reason you're tapping is that everything already feels like too much.

Recommended Starter Video

"A Simple Way to Help Process Anxiety" introduces the basic tapping points while walking you through slow breaths and simple phrases. An easy first session.

Channel 02The Tapping Solution (Nick & Jessica Ortner)

The Tapping Solution is the biggest name in this space, built around reducing everyday stress and overwhelm. Their videos teach simple, practical tapping sequences, and the channel does a good job explaining what tapping is doing and why, with guided meditations that are easy to follow on a rough day.

Recommended Starter Video

"Release Stress, Anxiety & Overwhelm – EFT Tapping Meditation" with Jessica Ortner leads you through the points slowly while the phrases stay focused on safety. A solid introduction.

Channel 03Julie Schiffman, MSW

Julie Schiffman is an EFT coach with over two decades of experience and a social work background, and she uses tapping with panic, phobias, PTSD, and chronic pain. Her style is compassionate and steady, and she's especially good at helping viewers name the pattern they're working with before tapping on it.

Recommended Starter Video

"Nervous System Reset (EFT Tapping)" guides you through gentle sequences for an over-activated system, with a lot of room for self-acceptance along the way.

Channel 04EFT Universe (Dawson Church & Team)

EFT Universe is led by Dawson Church, one of the field's most published researchers, and the channel leans educational: demonstrations of tapping sequences for anxiety, PTSD, and pain, along with plain explanations of what the research has found so far. If you're the kind of person who relaxes more once you understand the mechanism, start here.

Recommended Starter Video

"EFT Tapping 'How To' Video with Dawson Church" is the foundational tutorial: every tapping point, the full technique, calmly demonstrated.

Channel 05Suzannah Oakley, "Gentle EFT Tapping"

Suzannah Oakley is an EFT practitioner and breathwork coach who works with trauma, chronic illness, and anxiety, and her whole approach is built for sensitive systems: short sessions, a soft voice, and no pressure to go anywhere you're not ready to go. Her "Gentle EFT Tapping for Anxiety" series is made of brief, beginner-friendly videos.

Recommended Starter Video

"EFT Tapping for Anxiety (Gentle Series) – 6-Minute Quick Relief" is exactly what it says: six minutes at a soft pace, in a routine you can start without working up to it.

What the research says

EFT has a growing research base, including studies reporting reduced anxiety and lower cortisol after tapping sessions, much of it led by Dawson Church and colleagues. The evidence is still developing, and researchers debate how much of the effect comes from the tapping itself versus the breathing, the phrases, and the pause it creates. In practice, that debate matters less than it sounds: the practice is gentle and free, and the channels above teach it honestly.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

These five were chosen for their tone. Every one of them teaches in a way that stays calm and low-pressure, which matters when your nervous system is already working hard. A practitioner who rushes or hypes can undo the point of the practice.

Tapping works best as an ongoing practice. There's no need to wait until you're overwhelmed. Regular, low-pressure use tends to do more over time than emergency-only use.

Find the voice that feels right. Not every practitioner will land with you, and that's normal. If a voice or pace makes you tense, try the next channel on the list.

Tapping doesn't have to be your only tool. It pairs well with grounding, breathwork, and self-compassion practices, and it fits alongside the other body-based approaches on this site.

Where This Fits in the Bigger Picture

These channels can teach you the technique, and the technique does the most when it becomes a regular, low-pressure part of your week.

To understand what tapping is doing in the body, start with how EFT tapping supports nervous system regulation. And if somatic and polyvagal approaches also appeal to you, there's a companion list: 5 somatic & polyvagal YouTube channels.
